1/15/19:
  • The Tomahawk Hatchet Varsity and JV Girls Basketball Teams traveled to Phillips on Monday night.  The JV Hatchets lost 52-28 and the Varsity also lost 79-38.
1/14/19:
  • The 6th grade girls finished in first place at the Tomahawk Great Northwest League Basketball Tournament on Saturday.  Tomahawk defeated Ashland 31-7, Medford 36-20 and Rhinealnder 29-16.
  • The 5th grade girls finished 0-3 in the Tomahawk Great Northwest League Basketball Tournament on Saturday.
  • The 6th grade boys finished with a 1-2 record at the Rhinelander Great Northwest League Basketball Tournament on Saturday.  Tomahawk defeated Wausau West 28-19.
  • The 5th grade boys finished with an 0-3 record at the Rhinelander Great Northwest League Basketball Tournament on Saturday.
1/7/19:
  • The 6th grade girls finished in third place at the Merrill Great Northwest League Basketball Tournament on Saturday.  Tomahawk lost to Merrill 22-15 and Marshfield 26-24.  The Hatchets defeated Chippewa Falls 39-14.
12/7/18:
  • The Tomahawk Hatchet Varsity Girls Basketball Team traveled to Antigo on Thursday night and lost 39-26.
  • The Tomahawk Hatchet JV2 Boys Basketball Team defeated Stratford 55-45 on Thursday night.
  • The Tomahawk 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams hosted Antigo on Thursday night, and the 7th grade lost in overtime 29-28.  The 8th grade split, winning the first game 24-18 and losing the second game 43-10.
11/30/18:
  • The 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams hosted John Muir on Thursday and in the 7th grade game, Tomahawk lost 36-30.  The Hatchets won the 8th grade game 53-39.
11/28/18:
  • The Hatchet Boys Basketball Team defeated Ladysmith on Tuesday night in the 2018-19 opener at the Fieldhouse. The final was 69-67 in favor of the Hatchets.
    After the first half, the game was tied at 26-26.  Tomahawk would then scored 43 points in the second half of play. Tomahawk built a 65-55 lead, before Ladysmith went on a late run and scored a basket at the buzzer to make the final 69-67.
    Jared Leverance had four three points and 17 on the night. Kamron Olson added 15 and Connor Dichsen had eight.
    Tomahawk will travel to Wittenberg-Birnamwood on Monday night, with the opening tip at 7:30 pm.
  • The Tomahawk Hatchet Girls Basketball Team travel to Rib Lake on Tuesday and lost 36-27.
    Sierra Graeber led the way for the Hatchets with 16 points.
    Tomahawk will host Medford on Friday night in the Great Northern Conference opener, with the opening tip at 7:15 pm.
  • The Tomahawk 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams were at Horace Mann and the 7th grade lost 38-12 and the 8th grade lost 45-17.
11/21/18:
  • The Tomahawk Hatchet Varsity Girls Basketball Team is now 1-1 on the season after losing on Tuesday night, 42-24 to the Elcho Hornets at the Fieldhouse.
11/20/18:
  • The Tomahawk Middle School Boys Basketball Teams hosted DC Everest on Tuesday, and the 7th grade lost both games, 25-8 and 36-28. 
  • The 8th graders also lost both games to DC Everest, 4-33 and 27-18.
11/16/18:
  • The Tomahawk Hatchet Varsity Girls Basketball Team opened their 2018-19 season on Thursday night, hosting White Lake at the Fieldhouse.  Tomahawk gets the win, 45-8.  Tomahawk will host Elcho on Tuesday night at 6:00 pm at the Fieldhouse.
11/12/18:
  • The Tomahawk Middle School Boys Basketball Teams traveled to Rhinelander on Monday and Rhinelander won the first game, while Tomahawk won the second game 38-29.
10/30/18:
  • The Tomahawk Middle School 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team opened their season on Tuesday, 10/30/18 at Medford.  The B-Team lost 27-19 and the A-Team lost 56-23.
2/27/18:
  • The Tomahawk Hatchet Boys Basketball Team had their 2017-18 season come to an end on Tuesday night in a 67-48 loss at Amherst in WIAA Regional Quarter Final play. 
2/23/18:
  • The Tomahawk Hatchet JV and Varsity Boys Basketball Teams hosted Prentice on Friday night, and Prentice won the Varsity game 43-39.  The Hatchet JV also lost to Prentice.
  • The Hatchet JV2 hosted Stratford and Tomahawk won that game.
2/20/18:
  • The Hatchet Girls Basketball Team opened up post season play on Tuesday night, traveling to Wittenberg-Birnamwood for WIAA Regional Quarter Final action.  The Chargers advance with a 54-21 win over Tomahawk.
    Sierra Graeber and Courtney Theiler led the way for Tomahawk with seven points each.
1/28/18:
  • The Hatchet Hoops 5th grade girls basketball team finished with a 2-1 record at the Merrill Great Northwest League Basketball Tournament on Saturday.  Tomahawk defeated Eau Claire Volunteers and Antigo and lost to Lakeland. 
  • The Hatchet Hoops 6th grade girls basketball team finished with a 2-2 record at the Merrill Great Northwest League Basketball Tournament on Saturday.  Tomahawk defeated Flambeau and Merrill and lost to Phillips and Medford.
1/26/18:
  • The Tomahawk Hatchet Girls Basketball Team defeated Antigo on Friday 46-39 in overtime in GNC action.  Tomahawk trailed 25-8 at the half, but came back and tied the game and eventually won in overtime.
1/25/18:
  • The Tomahawk Hatchet Varsity Boys Basketball Team lost at Antigo on Thursday night, 59-34.  The JV also lost, while the JV2 defeated Antigo.
1/22/18: 
  • The Hatchet Hoops 5th grade girls basketball team finished with a 3-0 record at the Rhinelander Great Northwest League Basketball Tournament on Saturday.  Tomahawk had wins over Wittenberg-Birnamwood, Ashland and Merrill.
  • The Hatchet Hoops 6th grade girls basketball team finished with an 0-3 record at the Rhinelander Great Northwest League Basketball Tournament on Saturday.  Tomahawk lost to Ashland Purple, Ashland Gold and Hurley.

  • The Hatchet Boys Basketball Team lost on Friday night at Medford in Great Northern Conference action.
1/17/18:
  • The Hatchet Boys Basketball Team lost on Tuesday night, 53-51 to the Northland Pines Eagles in Great Northern Conference action.
1/15/18:
  • The Hatchet Hoops 5th grade girls basketball team finished with a 3-0 record at the Lakeland Great Northwest League Basketball Tournament on Saturday.  Tomahawk had wins over Merrill, Rhinelander and Lakeland Juniors.
  • The Hatchet Hoops 5th grade boys basketball team finished 0-3 at the Tomahawk Great Northwest League Tournament.
  • The Hatchet Hoops 7th grade boys basketball team finished 0-3 at the Tomahawk Great Northwest League Tournament.
